Miniature SMD wirewound inductors are inductors that have a wire wound around a magnetic core, eliminating the need for magnetic shielding. The miniature SMD chip inductors are assembled using a fully automated process. Both types of inductors play similar roles in electronic circuits, particularly in space-constrained applications such as power supplies, DC-DC converters, and other electronic systems.
